Montréal, le 9 avril 2025 – Loto-Québec et la Fondation Aléo célèbrent cette année la majorité d’un partenariat unique mettant en lumière des para-athlètes québécois·es. La 18e édition de cette remise de bourses a reconnu et encouragé les parcours de 13 para-athlètes qui ont reçu 52 000 $ en bourses, toujours accompagnées des services offerts à vie par la Fondation.
Le Programme de bourses Loto-Québec reconnaît annuellement les réalisations d’athlètes ayant une limitation physique ou sensorielle exclusivement. Cette année, nos fidèles alliées Parasports Québec, Ski de fond Québec, Hockey Québec, la Fédération de natation du Québec, l’Association québécoise des sports pour paralytiques cérébraux, Ski Québec Alpin, l’Association sportive des sourds du Québec et Badminton Québec collaborent à nouveau au programme.
Une entente renouvelée
En plus de souligner les 18 ans de travail en équipe, le partenariat entre Loto-Québec et la Fondation Aléo peut regarder vers l’avant. Effectivement, l’entente de collaboration a été officiellement reconduite et même bonifiée. La société d’État continuera d’investir au cours des trois prochaines années afin de soutenir encore mieux les athlètes des parasports.
Boursier Leadership
Un des récipiendaires du Programme de bourses Loto-Québec aura également la chance d’intégrer le Programme Leadership de la Fondation Aléo crée en 2024. Mathieu Dorais se joindra la cohorte 2025-2026 de ce programme regroupant des étudiant·e·s-athlètes aux parcours exceptionnels. Ce programme unique comprend des formations et des ateliers favorisant le développement des compétences et des aptitudes en leadership.

Loto-Québec divertit les Québécois depuis plus de 50 ans et ses activités bénéficient à toute la collectivité. En 2024, elle a remis plus de 1,7 milliard de dollars en lots à la loterie. Pour une 18e année, Loto-Québec soutient la Fondation Aléo par son programme de bourses.
À propos de la Fondation AléoCréée en 1985, la Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence (FAEQ) a octroyé plus de 25 millions de dollars en bourses à près de 5000 étudiant·e·s-athlètes émérites de partout au Québec. Dans le but de préciser la mission de l’organisation qui vise à propulser l’athlète au-delà du sport, la FAEQ a changé de nom et d’image de marque en 2022; elle se nomme maintenant la Fondation Aléo. En plus de poursuivre son octroi de bourses d’études et de services d’accompagnement aux leaders de demain, elle confirme son approche personnalisée où l’épanouissement global et le bien-être dans la performance de ses boursières et boursiers sont au centre de ses actions.

Montreal, April 9, 2025 – This year, Loto-Québec and the Aléo Foundation celebrate the renewal of a unique partnership highlighting Quebec para-athletes. The 18th edition of the program recognized and encouraged the careers of 13 para-athletes, who received $52,000 in bursaries, in addition to the accompanying services offered for life by the Foundation.
The Loto-Québec Bursary Program annually recognizes the achievements of athletes with physical or sensory limitations exclusively. This year, our loyal allies Parasports Québec, Ski de fond Québec, Hockey Québec, the Fédération de natation du Québec, the Association québécoise des sports pour paralytiques cérébraux, Ski Québec Alpin, the Association sportive des Sourds du Québec and Badminton Québec are once again collaborating on the program.
A renewed agreement
In addition to celebrating 18 years of teamwork, the partnership between Loto-Québec and the Aléo Foundation can look forward to continuing their work together. The partnership has been officially renewed and even bonified, as Loto-Québec will continue to invest over the next 3 years to provide even greater support for parasport athletes.
Leadership Recipient
For the first time, one of the Loto-Québec Bursary Program recipients will also have the chance to join the Aléo Foundation’s Leadership Program which was created in 2024. Mathieu Dorais will join the 2025-2026 cohort of this program, which brings together student-athletes with exceptional backgrounds. This unique program includes training and workshops to develop leadership skills and abilities.
