Following the success of the 1985 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, Montreal is hosting this competition for the second time in its history. Nadia Comaneci and Montreal, inseparable
The queen the 1976 Olympic Games, Nadia Comaneci, is the official spokeswoman for the 47th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. She who conquered the metropolis with her perfect marks of 10 and her three gold medals 40 years ago: "Every time I come back to Montreal, I have fond memories. It's a part of my life. I am proud to be the spokesperson". Like Nadia, be part of this rendezvous from October 2nd to 8th, 2017.
The Championships
Up to 500 gymnasts from over 80 countries will compete at the Olympic Stadium in search of the 12 World championship titles. During 7 days of intense competition, more than 660 million viewers will be watching the athletes and discovering the city of Montreal and its attractions.
